Unique Multi-Media Concept

A single Hi-Flo body can accommodate any one of 6 different filter elements of standard design. This gives unprecedented flexibility & versatility to the user, where previously a media-change often involved a complete filter body change. The Hi-Flo filter can be supplied with wound cartidges, wedge wire, mesh on perf, pleated elements, polyester sleeves and Topmesh, enabling the filter to be adapted to many applications.

Hi-Flo filters are primarily designed to accommodate the unique Topmesh stainless-steel filtration element, with its innovative diffusion-bonded construction on a spiral support structure.

TOPMESH FILTRATION MEDIA

This revolutionary filtration media is changing the face of pressure filtration for a wide range of liquids. The secret of its success is a unique diffusion-bonding process for attaching the stainless-steel mesh to a rugged stainless-steel support mesh.

The robust characteristics of Topmesh permit its use at high differential pressures, and at increased open area achieves high levels of solids removal that exceed those previously known using conventionally-supported mesh elements. Constantly-changing dynamic loads exerted by the liquid do not affect the performance or life of Topmesh, whilst conventional unsupported media would crease or wrinkle until they finally split.

Topmesh has proved that it retains its integrity and high-performance without migration of wire fragments and without product bypass. It can be readily & quickly cleaned by vigorous high-pressure water jets.
